Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) have been advised to take note of a new policy concerning the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) online registration process, particularly as it relates to the Nigerian Education Repository and Data (NERD) process.
Under the new update, PCMs are expected to complete their NERD process before proceeding with the NYSC online registration. Those who are yet to complete the process are advised to do so as soon as possible to avoid any issues when the registration exercise begins.
Meanwhile, PCMs whose NERD status is currently showing “PENDING” have been advised to remain calm and wait for the necessary approval. There is no need to panic while the status is being processed.
Prospective Corps Members are therefore encouraged to check their NERD status and ensure that all necessary steps are completed ahead of the NYSC online registration exercise.
