The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has signed an agreement with the National Examinations Council (NECO), National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB), and National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies (NBAIS) on the upload and verification of candidates’ O’Level results.
The agreement, signed on Friday, is aimed at further streamlining the process of accessing and verifying O’Level results during the admission process.
According to the development, JAMB is set to onboard the three examination bodies onto its O’Level verification portal, allowing candidates’ results to be accessed and verified more efficiently.
The initiative is expected to improve coordination between JAMB and the examination bodies while reducing difficulties candidates may encounter during O’Level verification as part of the admission process.
The Board’s move also represents a further step towards integrating the examination bodies into its verification system and making the admission process more seamless for prospective candidates.
