The Governing Council of the University of Benin has appointed Ms Bimpe Omoyiwola as the 10th substantive Registrar of the University.
She succeeds Mr Ademola Bobola whose five year tenure concludes on 31st March, 2026.
Ms Omoyiwola is from Isin Local Government area of Kwara State and holds a Masters Degree, in International History and Diplomacy of the University of Benin, in addition to other postgraduate diplomas.
Until this latest appointment, she was a Director ( Registry), College of Postgraduate Studies, University of Benin .
A Fellow of the Chatered Institute of Public Management of Nigeria, Ms Omoyiwola is expected to assume duty on 1st April, 2026.
