The National Examinations Council (NECO) has officially announced the release of the 2025 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) External results. The results were released today, Tuesday, February 3, 2026 – exactly 52 days after the conclusion of the final paper.
This announcement was made public via NECO’s official X (formerly Twitter) handle. According to the statement and the accompanying notice, the results were formally approved and released by the Registrar and Chief Executive of NECO, Professor Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi.
The SSCE External Examination is primarily taken by private candidates—individuals who sit for the examination outside the conventional school system, either to obtain certification or to improve previously obtained results.
Candidates are advised to visit the NECO official results-checking portal to access and verify their results.
