The Murtala Muhammad International airport Lagos on Monday evening witnessed a fire outbreak throwing occupants into confusion.
According to a source who spoke to Nigerian Tribune under the condition of anonymity, the cause of fire may be due to renovation currently ongoing at the airport.
“I can not tell for sure the cause of the fire, it may be due to the renovation but I am not there at the moment so I cannot be specific.
“Again, I have not heard of any serious damages or fatality, so I assume that there was no fatal damage caused by the fire”.
There has not been any official statement to the incident as of the time of filing this report.
