WAEC TO RELEASE 2025 WASSCE RESULTS
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced that it will release the results of the May/June 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) on Monday.
A total of 1,973,253 candidates from 23,554 accredited secondary schools participated in the examination.
The Head of the National Office (HNO), Dr. Amos Dangut, will officially announce the release at WAEC’s headquarters in Yaba. The release of these results will enhance the admission prospects of candidates seeking entry into universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education for the 2024/2025 academic session, many of whom sat for the exam as awaiting result candidates. Some institutions, including private ones, have already begun their admission processes and scheduled dates for post-UTME screenings.
Dr. Dangut also stated that, following WAEC’s current practice, the results would be released 45 days after the conclusion of the examination, while certificates would be printed and delivered to schools within 90 days of the release. Additionally, candidates will have access to digital copies of their certificates through the WAEC digital certificate platform.
