*JAMB Introduces SMS-Only Admission Offer Response System*
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has implemented a new system for accepting or rejecting admission offers, now to be done exclusively via SMS short code. Unlike the previous method, the accept/reject button has been removed from the CAPS portal.
This new approach means only candidates with access to the mobile number used during registration will be able to respond to their admission offers. At present, there is no clear provision or simplified process for changing registered phone numbers.Candidates are encouraged to:
• Ensure they have access to their original registration phone number.
• Stay updated with official announcements from JAMB.
• Share this important information with others to prevent missed opportunities.
