The Kwara State Government has released the results of the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination with improved pass rates in English, Mathematics, and other core subjects.
The Commissioner for Education, Dr. Lawal Olohungbebe, said enrolment rose to over 57,000 candidates this year, with more female participation recorded.
According to him, pass rates in Mathematics increased by over 2 percentage points, English by nearly 3 points, and National Values by over 4 points.
The Commissioner warned school principals against collecting money from students, stressing that results and scratch cards are free.
He said parents and guardians can begin collecting their children’s results from the Ministry of Education from Thursday, September 11, 2025.
